Unlink remove a site in wordpress.com dashboard for link in an other account

    Hello,

    I wanted to install the woocommerce application on a customer’s mobile but it was impossible to use it with his wordpress.com account because the website is linked to my account and I couldn’t figure out how to unlink the website from my account to add it to his wordpress.com account in dashboard. I looked everywhere and found nothing. I don’t understand how it can be so easy to connect a site and so complicated to disconnect it.

    The site is host in my server, not wordpress.com host plan.

    thank you, I succeeded thanks to you. It’s a shame to have to install jetpack to remove a site from wordpress.com, as I didn’t want to install this plugin.

    Hello @terreduweb – I thought you have Jetpack plugin installed. You can still disconnect it if you don’t have Jetpack plugin.

    To disconnect someone from the WooCommerce mobile app, you’ll need to change the REST API keys that the app uses to connect to the website.

    Here’s how to do it:

    1. Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard.
    2. Navigate to WooCommerce ? Settings ? Advanced ? REST API.
    3. Identify the key that you are using.
    4. Delete this key by clicking the “Delete” button.

    This will disconnect WooCommerce mobile app from the website. To reconnect your app:

    1. Still on the REST API page, click “Add Key”.
    2. Give it a description and select your user from the dropdown. Set permissions to “Read/Write” to get full access.
    3. Click “Generate API Key”.
    4. Open the WooCommerce mobile app and go to Settings ? Add a Store and follow the instructions to add a new store.
