    by default , the images do not link to anything, unless yo customised things (like adding the permalink somewhere)

    if you have a link where you can demonstrate this behaviour, i can have a look

    Yes you can visit this page on the development site

    https://goo.gl/RK3Ufx

    If you click on any of the images it will take you to the full post which I don’t want it to do.

    Thanks for your help ??

    either some plugin, your theme or some/a customisation of the loop template(s) or some filters/actions add this.

    i can assure you that wppizza does not add things like
    sizes=”(max-width: 150px) 100vw, 150px” or srcset=”….” or anything along those lines
    to the featured images (or indeed makes them actually link to anything)

    i would suggest , turn off all other plugins and use a default theme (2016 or something) to find out what is causing this…

    obviously, if you have done that and it still misbehaves, please let me know (and if you found the culprit, let us know too so we know for the future)

    just downloaded and activated the theme you are using (tempera)
    which is the culprit of wrapping featured images into a permalink.

    why they would want to do that , I have no idea, but suffice to say it’s not a wppizza issue/problem or anything I could do about it, so I call this resolved too as there’s nothing I can do
