• Hi,

I am working with a client and he’s using your plugin and is looking for a way to make the directory information for his users be marked “unlisted” automatically if they’re free users and “private” if they’re paid users, automatically without them selecting anything (effectively hiding this on the “Your Directory” page altogether).

    Is this possible?

    Thanks

There’s nothing built into Connections to do this automatically, sorry. A custom “bridge” plugin would have to be created that could detect the free/ paid change that would then in turn set the visibility of the entry.

Maybe another option that might work is using roles… which could work well if you’re using roles to distinguish between paid and unpaid members.

If you set Connections to require login to view, you can then use the Roles option to define which roles can view public, private and unlisted entries.

    Hope that helps.

Thanks for the info, I appreciate it and will pass it on to my client.

Great looking plugin by the way. It’s the first time I’ve seen it and it looks really good. I might need to find a way to use it later myself ??
