• Does not seem to unload/disable fonts.googleapis.com in wp admin and edit post.

Would be nice if we could detect wp-admin loaded scripts and css and unload them in edit to boost performance of wp-admin and edit post as well.

@gabelivan Any update on this one

    Hi there!

This is a CRITICAL importance to me as well.

Is there feedback on this please?

@seanpatrick111 Unloading assets on the /wp-admin/ will be added at some point as there’s plenty of demand for it. I think the first feature would be unloading plugins (not individual CSS/JS files) as it’s easier due to the existing “Plugins Manager” interface.

PS: There’s another feature in progress at the moment and is due to be released in a few days (early stages) which is preventing files from loading based on the screen sizes (e.g. a file might be needed for the desktop view, but not for the mobile view).

@gabelivan Sounds good! Could we see this soon.

Interesting, will it be only load below @meadia queries for the mobile devices and the above @media queries + default on desktop? Or what is the idea? Don’t think developers or plugin load separated files to unload files per query.

Any other jucy improvments and new features? Grab all jquery and rewrite it to vanilla js? a dream haha!
