developers are required to publish human readeable code

but think about it… in this way can be even better, you will get plugins with clear code and with an optimization plugin you can merge and minify all js and css in a single file (one for js and one for css, excluded jquery and few other stuff you can need)

I don’t really care about the clean code, I care about the site speed.

I’m sorry but from here I can’t recommend you a specific plugin… it would be unfair to others. I don’t use the same one all the time so I can suggest you to start with the most used ones and try which one gives you the best results while leaving the functionality of your site intact.
