    When writing a Title in Yoast on a post/page in the following format:

    Look at these great websites [Updated For %%currentyear%%]

    When you save the post, and the admin screen reloads, it adds an extra space before the ending square bracket. So if you save the post again it updates the title to

    Look at these great websites [Updated For 2023 ]

    This is quite frustrating as you must keep remembering to remove the additional space the plugin has added.

    Workaround
    At this time, there is no known workaround.
