Unnecessary stuff

  • I thought it would be a good idea to try this plugin out. I installed it buty didn’t create any mpg pages as I was building the site. I then ran a site crawl and got thousands of 301 redirected pages. After A LOT of searching the plugin adds a multi-cities sitemap page with all the world’s major cities. Not only that but it adds this into robots.txt. I had to go into my database as well as ftp to try and find all this and clean it up/delete as my crawl score kept being super low with all these trash pages that were created. Yeh, basically NOT a fan. Would AVOID.

    Hi @gianty,

    Thank you for contacting us and sharing your experience with us.

    It definitely shouldn’t be happening unless you have imported the cities templates using the plugin and used the Sitemap of it. Have you used that and have you imported the template? Because if you did that’s the purpose of the plugin and described behavior is expected.
