Unparsable structured data issues detected

    Hi, i got this message from Google search console:

    Search?Console?has identified that your site is affected by 1 Unparsable structured data issue(s). The following issues were found on your site. We recommend that you fix these issues when possible to enable the best experience and coverage in Google?Search.

    Top critical issues*

    Invalid value in field ‘itemtype’

    *Critical issues prevent your page or feature from appearing in search results.

    Fix Unparsable structured data issues

    I checked the code where i found that colon is missing in the url so that it throws the error:
    itemscope itemtype=”https//schema.org/Article”>

    I contacted directoriespro plugin as this issue comes in their custom posts but they said it is not coming from their side so that i am checking Yoast support.

    Thanks for sharing the URL. The unparsable structured data likely comes from your theme, Newsmag or the directories plugin. Check out line 560 when you view the page source:

    <article id="post-1428" class="post-1428 directory_dir_ltg type-directory_dir_ltg status-publish has-post-thumbnail hentry directory_dct_type-products directory_dir_cat-shopify directory_loc_loc-chennai post" itemscope itemtype="https//schema.org/Article">

    Whereas Yoast SEO’s schema output starts on line 15. You could switch to a default WordPress theme and turn off the directories plugin temporarily to see the difference.

    Hi @maybellyne , Thank you for this. When i switched to default theme there is no such itemscope error so it is confirmed that this issue is coming from newsmag theme. Thank you so much for your help.
