• Hope I don’t get too unpopular with my request, but as it seems that problems with the search option is a common thing, I wandered if it is possible to turn it off all together.

My site wont be that busy, and having the search option is totally unnessesary – especially if is not working ??

  • Just remove the search form from your template.

I have searched and searched in all my doc’s to find anything relating to search – I just can’t figure it out. A hint to the name of the template, or maybe the exact piece of code would be appriciated.

Just spent an hour double checking my entire site. I can’t find anything that alters the search field, nor the search submit button.

I’m using the Semiologic 3 column theme, but in this theme there is neither a search.php nor a searchform.php file.
