Unread messages counter

  • How to reset the “Unread messages counter” for a user to 0?

    If the option “Hide chat from thread list” is set afterwards, the Unread message counter shows the number of messages from the chat, even if there are no more messages.

    Hi there!

    At the screen with threads list, there should be button to mark all messages as read. Will check unread counter for hidden chats.

    That’s right, but I now have a few users whose unread messages counter is 2 or 3, but who are no longer in the chat. Even deleting all saved conversations, after which the counter should be 0, doesn’t help.

    I did tests and cant confirm “Hide chat from thread list” to add messages to unread counter.

    Hi there!

    I think the best way to clean unread messages shown – use Mark as Read button in the header of messages window. (it appears only if you have unread messages) Please try that way. If that does not work, contact support email
