After updating the plugin from 1.0.0.1 to 1.0.1.x the emails sent with Contact Form 7 were not readable anymore. All HTML tags were no longer interpreted correctly.

Also when we do not send a PDF with the form it was not readable anymore.

Please fix this as soon as possible.

    Thanks very much.

Also after updating from 1.0.1.1 to 1.0.1.3 it does not work. The emails are not readable anymore.

Can you please fix this as soon as possible?

    Thanks very much.

I’m not sure if when you mean that they’re unreadable – is this because it’s showing code in them? If so then go into your form in Contact Form 7 and click on the Mail tab and scroll to where there’s a checkbox that says ‘Use HTML content type’ – make sure this is checked and it should sort the problem.

    Hi

You are right. When I set the ckeckbox “Use HTML-Content-Type” it works.

But what I do not understand.

When this plugin is deactivated, it works without the checkbox “Use HTML-Content-Type”.

But when this plugin is activated, also when we do not generate a PDF, it does not work without the checkbox “Use HTML-Content-Type”.

And this prolem was not with version 1.0.0.1.

I’m not sure why it’s working like that now – something in the update has changed things. I’m also struggling to get the date format to show correctly in the PDF – it was fine before the recent updates – so that’s my next problem to solve!

Okey, hope you will find the reason for that… also the entries in the contact form table (plugin Contact Form CFDB7) look special when we use your plugin with the newest updates.
