Unreliable is an Understatement!

  • When the plugin that is supposed to backup and restore your site fails to restore and deletes itself (and all other installed plugins) in the process, you know you have a problem!

    Don’t, just don’t use this!!! Two days away from a launch and it is beyond borked. On top of that, if you read the support forum many many people complain of the same issue, which according to the devs is related to permissions but (1) they don’t say what file permissions are needed and to what directories and (2) literally just respond with a third party link.

    Hi,

    Sorry to hear of your experience. There isn’t one single reason why a restore might fail; to know why that is, we’d need to see the restoration log file. So, please open a support topic that includes a link to your log file (e.g. paste it at pastebin.com). That information is needed to diagnose your particular problem.

    (Also if you are in a hurry you can use the various FAQs to explain alternative ways of performing a restoration).
