Unreliable plugin and useless support

  • Although it’s complicated to set up, I installed this plugin a while back and it seemed to work great. Until it didn’t. So I asked for support almost FOUR DAYS AGO with complete documentation of the error codes received when testing (see https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/the-plugin-stopped-dead/), and never got a reply. So I posted below that original post that a different plugin, WP Mail SMTP was super easy to install in just a couple minutes, and it worked great to make my site’s email function again. Guess what? Within an hour somebody had CENSORED my followup post! So they can’t be bothered to actually address support requests, but they are totally on the ball to try to keep people from finding out they don’t!

    These plugins are provided for free, often developed in the developer’s free time. They owe you nothing, and they certainly do not have to deal with your abuse here.
