• Sorry to write a negative review but we must be pragmatic here.

I tried to use this plugin with ACF Pro and the plugin does not see ACF Pro. It still wants ACF Free installed.

The website also touts most of the important features as “planned” but these being missing capabilities make this version a weak candidate for the task. Their “Pro” version doesn’t seem to add enough to warrant the cost.

I have contacted the website but no response in days.

Lots of potential but missed the mark so far.

Happy to change my opinion if these details change.

    Hi @jemcbade,

I’m sorry to hear you didn’t have a good experience with our Plugin. We didn’t receive any messages from you in the forums on our website. Would you provide the link to your forum post so we can reply?

@moderator, this is a review about customer support and the premium version of our Plugin, can someone remove this? Thank you!

Would you please cut this out, the modlook I mean?

@s3w47m88 @wppluginco You upsell on your plugin page with this link.

    https://www.wppluginco.com/product/acf-front-end-form-plugin

You invited all of your customers to leave reviews when you did that. It’s part of the experience and all of those “premium” reviews or “customer service” reviews are valid.

You may not support customers in these forums. You will get into trouble if you do that. BUT your customers may leave a review if you reference your “premium” product on your plugin page. You’ve done that.

You invited them here when you upselled. You can’t get the benefit of that without these reviews.

    These reviews stay.

    Hi @jan,

I apologize for annoying or upsetting you.

I am not aware of any rules about when and where I’m allowed to use modlook and have attempted other methods of getting moderator attention. But I wasn’t trying to cause a problem either way, I appreciate your time and respect your efforts in these forums.

I understand what you’re saying, although I’m confused and I want to – respectfully – challenge you for a few reasons.

    1. In the past, I left a review of the Premium version of the Relevansi search Plugin and the author did exactly as I did – requesting a moderator remove the review because it was not regarding the Premium version. And the moderator honored that request. So I don’t understand why it would be allowed for that case but not this?

    2. I have tried to find rules regarding leaving reviews and am unable to find any. Are there docs you can point me to? It seems to me that if WordPress values helpful reviews, then a review of a separate Premium Plugin, and support relating to that, is not helpful to those looking at the free version of the Plugin which we offer no support for.

I don’t expect to avoid every negative review, we’ve earned some and those are reviews that I didn’t ask for a moderator to challenge. But I hope you’ll consider my questions above and help educate me if I just have the wrong perspective here.

Again, I appreciate your time and the entire moderation staff. I didn’t mean to make you feel like I’m a nuisance!

Thank you Andrew. Forgive my ignorance, while I do use Slack I’m relatively new to it. I attempted to sign in with my login but it’s saying I have to contact the administrator for an account or the account I’m using is incorrect.
