unresponsive blog page

Because the blog page of this theme does not scale well to mobile screens, is there a way to move the featured image to the top of listed posts, rather than the side?

As it is, the image pushes the text right to that side making it completely unreadable.

One small niggle, in what is an otherwise excellent theme!
