Unsecure email configuration error
-
Hello @cf7-Team,
since cf7 is such a great tool and is recommended all everywhere, we decided to use it as our contactform tool on serveral websites. Now since last updates the annoying “Unsecure email configuration error” pops up stating that the [your-email] tag has been used in the send-email config. Well, THIS tag is recommended from cf7! How come that this error is still going on, even if we use separate safety additions like cf7-honeypot function, as well as a separate captcha PLUS another double-opt-in function?
I searched google as well as the forum closely for an answer – NOT finding ANY sufficient help. It seems many people using cf7 are experiencing the same errors and searching for help due to all the questionary entries in the forum here.
But the only thing that is mentioned from CF7 is to use the malicious google “re-captcha”, which is not only slowing down websites unnessesarely, but maybe also is UNWANTED by many users! How come that THIS is supposed the ONLY answer and help provided?
WHY DOESNT THE CF7-Team give a sufficient and helping answer to all those who are searching for a workaround to this problem?
Actually we already lookout for another eMail-solution for our websites, as in the momentary CF7 renders useless for us is those errors don′t disappear by another workaround or help provided.
So if there is no other solution and answer from CF7 except using re-captcha, we will decide to do so. Sorry, but i think CF7 will loose many users if you dont react differently.
