Unsent emails following automatic account creation.

Hello, I’m trying to grant access to the shop site for everyone, whether they are logged in, registered, or not. From what I’ve gathered, when someone without an account makes a purchase, an account is automatically created, presumably with a random password.
However, the customer does not receive an email informing them that an account has been created for them, and I, as the admin, do not receive an email either. Is this normal? Is it possible to change this behavior? I appreciate your assistance.
