    Hello all,
At the end of my rope here, I have really tried to dig in and find out what’s going on with my calendar. If this conversation has been opened before, I apologize, please drop the link and I will go there.

Navigating to my events calendar page on a laptop or desktop, I find that hovering over an event in month view causes the event listing to pop up, surrounded by comment symbols (/*), and stay there. Hovering over it will cause the listing to repeatedly appear underneath the previous instance, causing the page to just get longer.

On iPhone, the events calendar has “/* Events for(Date) /*>*/” underneath. Tapping on an event date causes the “/* Events for(Date) /*>*/” to repeatedly appear.

On the iPad, infuriatingly, the events seem to appear correctly! Tapping on the events causes the event to show correctly in a pop-up box and tapping elsewhere causes it to disappear.

I am so confused, has anyone got any thoughts on this?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hey there @slicore-design!

Thanks for reaching out — sorry to hear that you are experiencing difficulties.

I’ve seen this happen with certain themes, though I’m never able to reproduce it. Those tooltips are created with JS, it seems that your site is throwing some JS errors pertaining to FontAwesome. This may be unrelated, though I can’t be sure.

First, see if this still happens with no other plugins installed and with a theme like Twenty Seventeen.

Let us know how that goes!

    Hey Ed (@erishel),

    Awww really!?

K, I have been WPing for long enough to know that I gotta run through deactivations to close in on my problem. I guess I just didn’t do it right this time. It’s my W3 Total Cache plugin. This wasn’t happening before so now I have to figure out what I did wrong in my settings caching.

Thanks for stepping up and getting me to go back and look again.
