    Hi,

I just tested your plugin. I have a problem. If I click on the unsubscribe link I’m linked to subscribe form. But I want to get a message: You are successfully unsubscribed. This must ne for me a notification in german (e.g. “Sie wurden erfolgreich abgemeldet”). But I get a email “Goodbye” which I don’t want to be sent.

    How to fix it?

1.) I want a page that confirmes the deregistration. That must be a individual (german) page.
2.) I want to turn-off this goodbey-mail. How is this possible?

    Hope you can help me.

sadly i got the same problem after i register for the newsletter

i get the confirmation email with a link like this https://www.domain.com/?na=c&nk=XXXX-352a6234124 and the unsub link looks exactly the same just it says “na=u” instead of “na=c” i get C stands for confirm and U for unsubscribed, weirdly only the confirm url works, the unsub url doesnt

You have to insert one of these links into the newsletter:

{unsubscription_url} URL to build a link to start the cancellation process. The cancellation is not completed, just started.
{unsubscription_confirm_url} URL to build a link to an immediate cancellation action. Can be used on newsletters if you want an immediate cancellation or on cancellation page.

You can change the texts here: Click “Newsletter” (in your WordPress-Back-End).
Then there is top navigation. The secound point is “Create Lists”. Choose “Unsubscription”. In the upcoming forms you can put your content, for example the Goodbye-Message. There , you can also decide, if a goodbye mail should be sent.

I dunno what your reply has to do with mine but thanks? i guess ^^ u didnt get what i meant it seems. The URL provided by the placeholder “{unsubscription_confirm_url}” does not do anything, it leaves the subscriber in the confirmed state, instead of putting him in the state unsubscribed

but i guess i have a work around, thanks anyway

Okay, perhabs the installation is damaged? In my case, something was also wrong. Than I have restored the sql data base. I have configured all and it works fine now.

Tip: The developer has its own website with a forum, whre you can get help also.

Hi, you should create a page with [newsletter] shortcode inside and only that. Not the shortcode [newsletter_form]. This page should be set as “dedicated page” on subscription configuration panel.

That panel has a button to setup the page for you automatically and all your problems should be solved.

    Stefano.

    Hi Stefano,
    Thanks for your plugin.
    I Didn’t get your answer.
Could you explain again how to make the un-subscription link work?
