Unsubscribe from the list since php 7.7 is no longer possible

  • Dear Stefano, we use your module feventsbook to register (and unsubscribe) for participants in our hikes. Unfortunately, since php 7.2 (and WP 5.03) it is no longer possible to unsubscribe from the list. Since we do not find an alternative to feventsbook (there does not seem to be anyone missing such a list) I ask you to make an adjustment so that the entry and exit from the list works again. Note: In the own browser the participant entry first appears as deleted. But after updating the browser window, he is back.

    Hi,

    a customer of mine had the same issue and I fixed it with this patch (also includes a minor fix for fetching the user zip from meta data).

    Maybe you can include this fix into a new release.

    @bl-solutions thank you for the patch, but I found no $userzip references in my last commit, and line 522 is different; please can you send me all the file?

    ok, fixed. My fix may be a little different but seems to work:

  the issue was: refreshing delete page insert again the user
* tested up to WP5.2.2 / PHP 7.2
