    There seem to be 2 issues when a user unsubscribes (I’m not talking about registered users, just public subscribers).

    1) Their email address is not being removed from the public subscribers list. This is critical, I’m afraid people may start flaging me as spam if they can’t unsubscribe.

    2) After they click the “Unsubscribe” button, they are not being forwarded to the specified “Default Subscribe2 page”, but instead to the 1st page in the drop-down selection of pages in settings > Appearance tab. This is only when they “Unsubscribe”. When they “subscribe”, it takes them to the selected page in settings as specified. Just not when they “Unsubscribe”.

    Thank you!

    Correction, but still a question…
    I see now that when you Unsubscribe, an email confirmation is sent to the user first. So forgive me. The unsubscribe does remove the email after they confirm. My bad.

    But… what is confusing, is that when a public subscriber clicks the “Unsubsribe” button, they are immediately sent to another page in the site. That page seems to be the first page in drop-down list of pages in Settings > Appearance.

    Why is the user immediately transferred to this page? It would be better if I could send them to a specific page, where I tell them “you will receive an Unsubscribe confirmation email shortly”. If this setting already exists in Subscribe2, forgive me, but I can’t find such a setting for when someone Unsubscribes.

    Thanks again!

    @mharpen,

    If you have a particular page you want the form to direct to you can use an id parameter in the shortcode to redirect to that page. Just make sure that he shortcode is also used on that page.

    You can find more in the FAQ section under the heading “How do I use the Subscribe2 shortcode?”.

    So sorry Matt! Your plugin works great. I didn’t notice the send to page drop-down option in the widget. thanks for the awesome quick response. Subscribe2 ROCKS!

    @mharpen,

    Glad you got it working, I thought you were talking about a page originally, but yes, the Widget has it’s own settings.
