unsubscribing customers after purchase

since the plugin update, when a subscriber purchases a product they get unsubscribed from the newsletter. This isn’t happening to everyone but about 80% of people at checkout. This is not the first time this glitch occurred, this has happened in the past with 2 other versions of this plugin. I would love for this to be fixed and be a priority when testing for new versions in the future.
