For the record, and as per my other tickets, I cannto create audio on new posts – since I enabled Neural feature.

I suspect a conflict between the Neural feature and another wordpress function. But I am not a developer – just a suspicious mind ??

Disable ‘Automated breaths’ option in text-to-speech functionality – then it will work.

I’m getting the same thing. I’ve disabled the automated breaths and still no luck.

Just to update it appeared it wasn’t working since in the page it shows the clock as 00:00 but when I hit play the correct time shows and it plays. Another strange thing is that sound works in Firefox but not Chrome.

Yet another update! The sound in chrome was being blocked by default. You have to see if there is a little audio icon in the url bar indicating it’s blocked. I do see the download link with the three dots at far right of player, but this doesn’t appear in Firefox.

One problem by case please ?? Regarding the error: please make sure you have got the latest plugin version installed (3.1.5) – if the problem is still there, please provide:
– region
– languaae
– voice

Regarding last comment: it’s normal that chrome and firefox will behave diferently, and ‘download’ button might not be shown everywhere.

I just updated Amazon AI plugin on my website dragoman.ist
At the beginning it did not solve the problem.

I then edited the posts which were giving error and changed the voice to another. It now works.

I guess you solved the problem with the update. I will do further tests to make sure.
