• Hello

The latest version of a theme I’m using (Revelation) does not have a ‘Save Changes’ button under the Theme Options section in WordPress admin.

Unfortunately, it also seems that the developer is no longer supporting the theme. As such, I can’t find a way to make changes to the theme’s options. Can anyone advise?

    My ideas were:

Find the necessary code/address to prompt the page to save (if I add “&saved” to the URL then it reloads saying ‘Changes saved’ but doesn’t actually save them).
Find the file that the Theme Options page edits and manually update it. I’ve tried all the .php files in Appearance->Editor and searched on FTP but not found anything yet.

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Many thanks,
    Tim.

Does anyone have any suggestions for this?

I know I’m not the only one effected.

Please do let me know if there’s somewhere better this post could be directed.

    Thank you kindly,
    Tim.

You’re probably not going to find a lot of Revelation users here because these forums don’t support commercial themes. You haven’t contacted Envato for support?

Ah, I hadn’t realised there was a divide.

I’ve contacted Envato but they say to contact the author (who doesn’t seem to be replying to messages.

I was just hoping there might be a workaround.

    Thanks anyway.

    Tim.

Hi Tim – I am one of those Revelation users – have you had any luck with getting a solution yet?
    Thanks

Hi Archimedia, thanks for the message but unfortunately I’ve not had anything yet.

Please do message the author if you haven’t done already.

If there’s one specific thing you’re trying to change at the moment then I might be able to help with a work-around?

Thanks Tim, I have an older version of the site which is an older wordpress version, I am currently adding pages etc to that to make a copy of the current site – but have the older wordpress version so the button is still visible.
It’s a slow process but I am getting there.
Thanks for the offer of help though.

    Regards
    Peter
