Unticked the Firewall Notifications But Still Getting them

What is the content of the email?

Random Content some emails are blank some content is likt ” WordPress Security Firewall has blocked a page visit to your site. Log details for this visitor are below: – IP Address: ” etc etc

12 emails from same ip but different content with some blank

Page parameter failed firewall check. The offending parameter was “log” with a value of “?~?Y”. – Firewall Trigger: Field Truncation. – Firewall Block Response: Visitor connection was killed with wp_die() and a message. You can look up the offending IP Address here

Is the notifications setting you unchecked under the Firewall section > Firewall Response?

yes 100% also i deactivate the plugin re-activated it. Disable firewall (whole) re-enable it still gets emails so I have deactivated it now ??

Could you try ticking the box, saving, and then unticking the box and resaving? I just checked the source code… there is no room even for a strange bug to be in there. It is very odd.

One possibility is that you’re receiving a lot of “queued” emails that were sent before you changed this setting.

Yes I have also tried that..It can be the queue emails, i have deactivated the plugin an hours ago so in next 10 mins is should not get any emails as they are coming every hour.

Also as this one ip is hitting my site every time with same parameters, should it now be blocked automatically as its been sending almost same parameters etc for like 2 days. 12 emails every hour.

Yep, let’s wait and see if it’s queued email before reactivating the plugin. That’s the only way I could explain this.

Hi mate, I don’t think it is queue email as if it was I should have received something from last 30 minutes. ??
