    Hi.

My wordpress is installed with the language in Spanish.

Reply buttons (among others) in comments are shown untranslated (shown in English).

Activate and deactivate all my wordpress plugins and I was able to determine that the ones causing this error were your plugin and AMP for WP.

I would appreciate your comments on this issue.

    Thank you.

  • Hi @matador9 ,

We are sorry to hear about your issue. Can you please confirm if all your plugins are updated to the latest version? Also, have you tried disabling Yoast SEO? Does the issue persist while Yoast SEO is deactivated?

?We look forward to your response.

    Hi jerlyn
    Thanks for answering.
If I have updated the latest version of Yoast: 14.7 and all my plugins.
By precisely activating and deactivating plugins I was able to determine that the error was caused by your plugin.
The Spanish translator forums told me that it could be due to the rich text in the comments.

    I would appreciate the help.

We’d be happy to take a closer look at this. We would like some more information.

    1. Does the issue happen on AMP or non AMP pages?

    2. Does the issue happen on Pages or Posts or all post-types?

    3. What theme are you using? Is it updated?

    4. Can you provide a link that highlights the issue?

    5. If you view the issue in incognito or private mode does the Reply button still show in English?

    6. If you go to Settings-General is the site language in Spanish? Does it show ES and not some kind of Spanish variant like Spanish Guatemala? If you also go to Users-Your Profile is the language set in Spanish as well?

This happens in the wordpress administration, in the comments section, with the Respond and Approve and Reply button.
    Answer in the order:
    1) It happens in AMP and without AMP, it is in the wordpress administration.
    2) In the comments section.
    3) Generatepress theme and it is updated.
    4) I can give you a user as administrator to the test website, since this problem is present in all my websites.
    5) Shown in incognito and normal.
    6) The language is Spanish from Spain, and when I disable the plugin, it translates perfectly.

I’m glad you were able to identify the bug.
This plugin has the same problem: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/accelerated-mobile-pages/
Is it possible to know what the bug is so that they can identify it more quickly?

    Hi,

We’ve just reported the bug, so this will still be up for further testing and confirmation by our developers. Please do note that we can’t specify when this will be fixed, as it will also undergo categorization for priority based on other bugs and feature requests, but please just do check the updates in the changelog and newsletter from time to time for updates.

If the issue is also occurring with just the AMP for WP plugin (with Yoast SEO disabled), then we suggest reporting it to their support forums as well.

Already report on the AMP for WP forums.
    Thank you.

Awesome, thank you for letting us know.
