Unuseable due to bot activity

  • Have the woocommerce wishlist free plugin installed across 3 separate sites. The plugin is the latest version.

    All sites are being bombarded by bots adding items and categories to “wishlist” and also trying to run sql queries.
    The firewall is blocking the malicious requests.

    These attemped exploits are tying up resources and making the basket monitoring inaccurate.

    Apart from buying the paid for version, where you can force users to register or disabling plugin, is there any way around the issue ?

    next version of the plugin (both free and premium) will contain a specific code that should prevent bots from adding items to wishlist

    Will look forward to seeing the V3.0.10 update so can activate the plugin again.
