Unusual pagination misalignment

EDIT:
I was about to post this, but tried a last-ditch fix and it worked…so solution swas:
.archive-pagination, .entry-pagination {
clear: both;
}

I’ve got all the latest running with a custom Child theme.

I’ve barely touched the grid loop, but when i view a blog page the pagination elements are half-way up the page?!

BUT, if I enable the Visual Hook guide they sit right so I’m wondering if it needs to be wrapped in something?
