Unwanted ads

I agree, this is total BS. I don’t want your ads on my site and will look to replace this plugin if it is not removed or if a (paid) non ad version not offered.

FYI you can go into the file:
/wp-content/plugins/enable-media-replace/enable-media-replace.php
and comment out all lines from 204 onward and the ads will disappear.

Edit: Ah, ads in the admin dashboard. That’s permitted in tasteful ways. I’ve installed the plugin and the two ads were dismissed and stayed dismissed.

I wouldn’t mind if these were hidden in the settings for the plugin but not plastered all over the dashboard

This and the whole affiliate-cookie/”phoning home” issue: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/privacy-clarification/ looks pretty bad. I don’t have any ill wishes towards the developers, but I’d really prefer the plugins on my site without these things.

Absolutely agree. This plugin and shortpixel are really useful, but if this continues I will be removing both from all my client sites.
