Unwanted character added to post

I love this theme, but I do have one minor problem. Mudita is inserting a single ‘greater than’ character above each instance of my solilioquy slider plug-in for images. The unwanted character does not appear when I activate other themes. The unwanted character appears only when I use Mudita, or when I use my child theme for Mudita. It does not appear when I use any other theme. Here is a post on my blog that shows the problem. On my post, look at the upper left corner of the image slider and you’ll see the unwanted ‘>’ character. What can I do to remove this character? Thanks.
