unwanted characters

    This sample text shows my problem. I think because of the database update that these unwanted characters got mixed up into my blog.
    How can I fix this?

    Did you upgrade your WP version? If yes, did you do it by fantastico?

    I have unwanted characters too. I upgraded to WP 2.2.1 with Fantastico. All went well except for unwanted characters appearing in existing entries – several unwanted characters per entry, hundreds of entries on two blogs – I posted about it yesterday with no reply. I’m concerned that I’m going to have to hand-edit all these entries to get rid of the unwanted characters.

    Any ideas?

    I am having the same problem after I upgraded to WP 2.2.1 with Fantastico.

    What do I need to do to correct this problem
