Unwanted connection between sites.

  • I have a selfhosted WP site and a com site for professional use.
    I have private com site, under another name and with another gmail address.
    Yet, reactions to my private site show up in my selhosted site.
    I never asked and I certainly don’t want these sites to be connected.
    How do I undo this, but far, far more importantly, how does WP connect two sites under a different name, with a different email address? As far as I know I never connected them. Is WP tracking our IP address?
    Or is this a gmail problem?
