Unwanted 'Default 2nd Column Widget' showing in blog page

Hi

I’m new to this today so apologies if the answer has already been posted here, I can’t find it!

I’m using the Dream Way theme.

I have set up my front page with a 1st & 2nd column displaying logos with links to two separate sections of my website. In between these two columns is a link to a blog post. When I click on this and am taken to the blog page it displays the 2nd column widget and I cannot find a way of getting rid of it. If I edit the page in customiser and remove the widget settings it also disappears from the front page which I don’t want.

Ideally I’d like to not have the blog page in between the two widgets but can’t seem to work around this. If anyone knows how to do this without losing the two columns with the widgets I’d be very grateful!
