Unwanted emails

  • I’m getting emails, from my blog, every time I add or change a post.

    How do I stop this?

    It only started about 3 months ago.

    It’s not the default behavior of the WP core.

    So, it’s likely a plugin is doing it.

    To rule out any plugin/theme interference, try:

    – deactivating ALL (yes all) plugins temporarily to see if this resolves the problem (plugin functions can interfere). If this works, re-activate them individually (one-by-one) to find the problematic plugin(s).
    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
    – If the above steps don’t help, try switching to the unedited default Theme (Twenty Sixteen, etc.) for a moment using the WP dashboard to rule out any theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

    deactivated all plug ins
    reset plug ins
    Changed default

    Put plug ins back
    Changed back to my theme.

    We’ll have to see! (I have another problem, and was told to do all the same stuff to get rid of that problem, but that problem is still there)

    Problem still exists.

    Any other ideas?
