    Hi guys.

I’m having a really big problem. If you would visit my website https://www.zoop.lt from a mobile phone (with no adblocker) you would instantly notice google ads showing up. The thing is that….. I have never ever added any code to my website that could show google ads. I don’t need them as (now) they’re showing ads from my competitors.. I suspect the code might have come with some plug-in I installed, however I have no idea which one might have done that. My current plug-in list looks like this:

    Akismet Anti-Spam
    iThemes Security
Merci Toolkit (comes with the theme)
SKU search to direct product page
    Slider Revolution
    WC Fields Factory
    Woo Discount Rules
    WooCommerce
WooCommerce Custom Add To Cart Button
    WooCommerce Product Filter
    WP Smush
    WP-Optimize
    WPBakery Page Builder
    Yoast SEO

I’m using Merci theme from Kutethemes. I’m also using yhis theme on another website and there are no ads there.

The ads don’t show on a desktop browser.

    Looking forward to your opinion.

    Regards
    Saul

This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and use one of the default (Twenty*) themes. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of your troubles.

If you can install plugins, install “Health Check”: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/health-check/ On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site.

Looks like the following script inserts the Google Ads when loaded:
    https://www.googletagmanager.com/gtm.js?id=GTM-PDDL2SH

So whatever is loading this Google Tag Manager is causing it.

    Hi.

Thank you for your responses! So, in the end I found this code in footer.php and deleted it. This solved the problem.
Not sure if I did something wrong to let the code in or was it there all the time… What I did know is that this theme was recently removed from themeforest…. maybe it has something to do with it being buggy…

    Regards
    Saul
