Unwanted noindex meta tag in head

    some jobs have an unwanted meta tag <meta name=’robots’ content=’noindex,follow’ /> in head,

    rank math after that has its own index of course .

    is not any custom code i added neither the theme.

    it happens only on job pages.

    discourage option is unchecked.

    any advice?

    I’ve checked my own test site and did not see the noindex tag. We suspect one of your plugin is adding the tags to the pages.

    Could you try these steps to temporarily disable all plugins and revert to a default theme?

    1. Install Health Check plugin on your site
    2. Download and install Twenty Twenty-Three on your site if not installed already
    3. Go to Installed Plugins. Click Troubleshoot on WP Job Manager
    4. Try viewing the Jobs page and check if you see the noindex tag
    5. Once you are done, go back to wp-admin and disable troubleshooting mode through the top bar.
