Unwanted popup

  • Hello everybody.
    I was using WP 2.3.2 and two of my websites now have a pop-up ad on the frontpage. For one domain I have several WP’s installed, one in the root and some in subdirectories, and this hack only seems to affect the one in the root.

    I’ve now upgraded to 2.5.1 and I still have the error. There must be a simple line of code somewhere that needs to be deleted.

    I have tried to find this on threads around here but not succeeded. Has anyone experienced this before?

  • Probably been hacked if you are getting pop up ads, javascript most likely cause.

    I have several blogs but recently I noticed a popup that is not coming from anything I have done on one of my site. I am wondering what can be done to find and clean this up ? or a plugin etc that will remediate this ? here is my site. I am on the most recent version of wordpress.
