Unwanted redirect to wp-login

  • I have multisite network consisting of site A (main) and site B (sub).

    Im trying to use them as one site.

    i have a link on A that should go to the homepage of B, when the user is not logged in the link redirects to the wp-login page instead of the correct location.

    At the bottom of wp-login boxes is a link to the homepage of B.

    Can anyone possibly explain this behaviour and how i can prevent it without a plugin if possible.

    It seems like a huge security issue being unable to prevent a call to wp-login for NO REASON.

    Maybe if someone helped we would all benefit, jeez.

    I’m guessing being wordpress people are waiting for a fee to provide some assistance, damn vultures.
