Unwanted Repeating Entry Header / Title

    Hey all!

    I’m having some trouble figuring out why there’s a repeating “News & Events” entry title on each of my pages. I’m taking over the WP website from a previous designer and I’m trying to interpret this edited version of Twenty Thirteen.

    If you take a look at https://robinsonhillusa.com/family-of-brands/, below the header image is “News & Events” when I’d like it to read “Family of Brands”. The “Family of Brands” currently there is added in through the post and formatted to look like the title of the page. Is it a sorting issue considering how the posts are organized? Is it something wrong with the CSS?

  • It’s not a CSS issue, and I can’t see anything on the front end that would cause that to happen. Is it possible to get in touch with the original designer and ask him or her what they altered?

    Got it fixed – turns out it was in the singlepost.php file. Just had to delete one line, <h1>news & events</h1>.
