• Hi there…
I was hoping I could find help on how to stop receiving the
‘Your site has updated to WordPress x.x.x’
    notifications.
I am no longer an employee at the organization whose website this is, and I’ve already tried to get them to stop the notifications, to no avail. They just keep coming!!
I realize I could set up a filter on my Gmail account, but I also don’t want to block WordPress altogether, especially if one day I want to use WordPress for a different endeavor.
    Help!
    Thanks so much.

You’ll have to notify whomever is running the site now. We don’t have any more control over sites made with our software than Microsoft has over novels written in Microsoft Word.

They should fix that up quick, as I’m sure they want those notifications instead. ??

Your email address is listed in the settings as the administrator for that site. Do you still have access to login to the site via sitename/wp-admin? If you do, then you can login and change the administrator email to whoever it should be for the site now.

If you are no longer an admin for the site and don’t have access, you need to contact whoever IS the admin and tell them to change the email so they receive the notices, not you.

    Good luck!
