I’m using WP english version but one of the plugins somehow shows Swedish text even though the plugin is in english and I have not made any choice of changing language.

I do have a swedish computer with swedish Windows 7, but I’m sure the plugin isn’t that smart! How do I change it back to english?

    /Staffan

What is the plugin? It’s probably checking the language your browser is using.

It’s Event Organiser by Stephen Harris. Is there a better calendar plugin where you can enter planned events in future with a calendar widget?

Hi Zyhorn – I’d thought I’d reply to this here as well to the bug report you filed, just in case people find it :).

The plug-in localises everything through WordPress. For the calendar, and other JavaScript parts, the plug-in is translated server side and printed to the page (using wp_localize_script()).

The browser isn’t consulted at all regarding translations.

    Thanks

I solved it by deactivating the plugin, deleted all files in the language directory and then reactivated the plugin again. Then it didn’t translate anything and I’m happy again =)
