How did you installed the plugin:
    1. Clicked the “Install now” button?
    2. Uploaded the zip in WordPress admin?
    3. Uploaded and extracted the zip via FTP?

If you can install plugins/themes via WordPress admin page, It requires you to enter the FTP credentials or it works right away?

i had tried it with uploading the zip in wordpress admin.

i have just tried it now again, using the install now button, with the new version 2.1.3 and i am still getting the same problem.

when i install plugins/themes via the wordpress admin page, they usually work straight away, and no need to enter any ftp credentials.

    thanks

Sorry, we still have no idea how to reproduce this problem. On our side everything works (on Linux, Windows, and Mac).

It will be perfect if you can give us a step by step instruction:

    1. Buy a hosting plan X from the company Y.
    2. Install WordPress.

    X. Click the “Download extension” button and you will see the error.

i have now tried this on 2 different sites, one with a themefuse theme installed, and one with Twenty Fourteen.
on both i have the same hosting, and the same wordpress install that i have for numerous other websites/wordpress installations, and i have successfully installed other plugins with no problem in both places.
i have tried and successfully installed unyson to both wordpress installations now, and have tried all 3 ways to install.
    1. Clicked the “Install now” button
    2. Uploaded the zip in WordPress admin
    3. Uploaded and extracted the zip via FTP
the plugin installs ok, and then i activate the unyson plugin, and i can click into the unyson admin menu to the left of the screen, but when i try to download any extension, thats when the problem occurs.

is it possible to either download all the extensions files and ftp them in that way?
or to send you a link and user to sign in and see if you can figure the problem out?

    thanks

i found another plugin that will do the job i want, all be it with a different theme than i originally wanted, which was the themefuse autotrader one.
thanks anyway, but i’d rather use something that isn’t problematic unlike other plugins.

Just FYI—I had the same problem as nigel3174. It worked with the zip file that you provided, but the auto-install from WordPress didn’t work and neither did my manual FTP installation. Just wanted to let you know!

Spoke too soon—still doesn’t work. Now I get “Failed to access Github repository “ThemeFuse/Unyson-Empty-Extension” releases.” Switched to another option. Thanks though.
