Upcoming Event widget

    Hi,
    I’m using the Upcoming Event Widget to display a single event but we were hoping it would display the next coming event but it doesn’t appear to be doing that. Instead it seems to display a random event.

    Is there any way it can be set to show just the next coming event?

    You can change the widget settings from ASC or DESC. We will order by setting in next version.

    Soon we will udpate latest version.

    I’ve tried changing the ASC and DESC setting but it doesn’t seem to make a difference. It’s still showing an event in August but I know I have events dated in May which should show.

    Any ideas why?

    We have checked in our demo it is working. By default it is taking random so it won’t allow you to set ASC or DESC.

    In 3.1 version we have implemented order and orderby clauses so you can set.

    Thank you for pointing out to the orderby issue. It will be fixed soon.
