    I want to show only upcoming events list in the homepage. I tried the widget but I dont like the format, the custom structure format is better. I dont know if I can modify the shortcode [em_events] to view only upcoming events in the homepage, and all the events in Event page.

    @klementeran I am using a “trick”, build an event type for past events and another event type for upcoming events and costumise the shortcode. It’s inconvenient because you have to change the event type once it happens but it’s the only way…

    Yeah i agree, good idea, but not acceptable to my clients.. I just built my own custom event calendar today with custom queries and filters.. but it would still be nice to know if there is a solution to this for future projects..

    The [em_events] shortcode shows both current and upcoming events so, as of now, we do not have any feature to show only upcoming events with this shortcode. But we have made note of your requirement and sent it to the planning team for further analysis and we will try to include this feature in one of our upcoming releases.
