Upcoming Events Widget Limit to: Category / Tag / Event function problematic

  • Hi, there seems to be some stray behavior with the Limit to: section in the Upcoming events widget. When I go to Limit to, and choose “Or events with these Tags” or “Or any of these events” only, and want to leave the “Events with these categories” unchecked, when I hit the Save button on the widget, I see that the “Events with these categories” option appears checked again, and on the page sidebar, I see the same event twice or even three times.

    I am using Beveled theme from WooThemes which allows me to create custom sidebars. What I am trying to do is show my Seminar events on my Seminars page, and maybe show Workshop events on my Workshops page selectively. But all three options yield checked when I hit the Save button on the widget. I seem to have no control on this.

    I am not sure if this is some sort of a conflict because of the custom multi sidebar feature of Beveled.

    Can you pls help me? I searched for any previous posts on this problem, but could not find any.

    Hi salihtahir,

    I cannot replicate this issue, which makes me wonder if this issue is being caused by a conflict with the Beveled Theme. Please can you try temporarily switching themes to WP Twenty Eleven and let me know if this still happens?
