Upcoming Events widget – plain list view?

There doesn’t appear to be a way to alter how the Upcoming Events widget displays information. I’d love to be able to have it produce a plain listing of upcoming events (simpler than Agenda view) for when there’s either a relatively small amount of space or a relatively large number of upcoming events.

Is this possible or could it perhaps be added to future versions of All In One Event Calendar?
