    Thank you for the plugin

There is something I think should be mentioned.

After update from Simplest Gallery from 2.8 to 4.3 the fancybox/lightbox effect stopped working.

In Firefox the large image was shown centered with a dark background and in Google Chrome it just shows the image to the left top op the screen with a white background.
In both browsers there was no way of clicking through to the next image.

I was able to solve this by installing the addon Fancybox 2.

    Hopefully this helps other users.

    Hi Edwin,
the upgrade shouldn’t break the fancybox effect, but it’s possible that after update the new code gets loaded too early or too late in your theme header. Fancybox2 probably was a good fix for you, so well done and thanks for sharing the tip.

Another way I can suggest is uninstalling+reinstalling the plugin, this often changes the order of loading of the plugin code in the header, and resets the normal behaviour.

If not, just post here a sample gallery page url and I will be glad to take a look at it ??

    Hi Cleoni

    Thank you for your reply.

Just now I have deactivated and activated the updated Simplest Gallery on another site. Refreshed the page (CTRL+F5) several times. But that had no effect.

Uninstalled, removed and installed the plugin again. Same result.
I also tried with the twenty sixteen theme. Same result.

And what I see now that on pages with the updated plugin there is conflict with a language selector.
For the moment I am going ahead with the Add-on. When I have time I will try it a testing enviroment.

The moment I install the Fancybox 2 addon and select that it is solved. The lightbox and the language selector work.

    Regards
