Update 2.0.1 crashes

  • Enjoyed the plugin for quite some time but the update 2.0.1 crashed my WordPress programme and had to be disabled. Any solution?

    Thanks for the rating. There was an issue with 2.0 which broke WP. However, I fixed the bug in v2.0.1.

    If you’re still facing an issue, you might want to

    1. Backup the wp_top_ten and wp_top_ten_daily (optional) tables via phpMyAdmin or a similar mySQL interface
    2. Deactivate (if not already done) the plugin and delete it. This step will remove the files and delete the tables from the database.
    3. Reinstall the plugin. This will start the plugin out from scratch
    4. Restore the wp_top_ten table and wp_top_ten_daily (optional) table
