    Hi,

After updating woocommerce to 3.4.1 my woocommerce admin is very slow, especially regarding the duplicate function.

I’ve been getting Gateway Timeout errors while duplicating and deleting variable products and I’ve never expirienced this before this update.

In the mean time, I thought maybe it’d improve, by updating to 3.4.2, but it didn’t.

Can I please have some guidance here? Will this be fixed in the next version?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi there,

Regarding your slow admin panel, you may want to try implementing some of the suggestions recommended here: https://www.onlinemediamasters.com/slow-wordpress-admin-panel/

    Hi Amanda,

Thanks for your suggestion, but I’ve already looked into that article.

However, I really think the issue must be the latest two Woocommerce updates, because I was not experiencing such a sluggish Woocommerce Admin, and I must enphasize it that only the menus regarding woocommerce are slow, especially te products tab and the “duplicate” functionality…

There’s probably an incompatibility issue here, and I was hoping someone had already experienced something similar and could help me understand this sudden change…

You don’t have any other similar reports to mine?

    Thanks!

@carinalves I have seen only one other report in a ticket that was escalated. Can you confirm how many products you have in your store? Also, have you done conflict troubleshooting as described here?

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.

    Hi,
I have the same problem. It got really slow after updating some weeks ago.
I updated to the latest version and hoped it would have fixed the problem, but unfortunately it is still very slow. Really annoying because just before this happended, I paid for a contractor to speed up the site. The front office works fine, it’s just extremely slow when I work with the products on admin panel.

similar issue, after updating, admin product page search takes forever, and never loads the searched product.
