I did a back up before I updated. The list of edits looked very promising.
But the refresh after the update finished resulted in my site going into an endless loop of just loading and loading….
I understand that black holes are trendy now, but I’m afraid they won’t be very popular features on websites.
I’m glad I backed up and I await the next update. I’ll just skip this one though.

  • I had pretty much the same issue. After the update to 4.0.0, my page was no longer reachable with an HTTP 500 internal server error. Not even the Admin area was reachable.
So I endet up removing the entire plugin via ftp and after tha the site was up and running again.
I restored the previous version of the plugin from a recent backup.
Same as hugrat, I′m going to skip this Update. Hoping the issue will be fixed soon.

    Hi,

For troubleshooting, deactivate all your plugins and let the MEC remain active only, set your theme on default, then reload the page, if the issue was solved, then activate your plugins one by one and your theme, refresh your page and check to see which plugin is causing the issue.

If the problem still persists, please sign up at our support center https://webnus.ticksy.com and submit a new ticket. Our support team will check it out and let you know the results.

Deactivating plugins does nothing and the new updates still send my sites into endless loops.
Only solution is restoring the backup.
    MEC is becoming unusable here.
